2025-26 School Year Information

Welcome Explorer Families!

Our office hours are 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday-Friday.

Attendance is very important in middle school. Please call the school anytime your child is not in school or will be late. You may also report your child's absence by email at EXAttendance@mukilteo.wednet.edu

SCHOOL HOURS:

8:05 am - 2:45 pm Monday - Thursday

8:05 am - 1:30 pm on Fridays

SBA testing is coming!   

Please avoid early dismissals during the following dates and classes.  Your child’s schedule can be found on Qmativ or you can ask them. As a reminder, it may be helpful for you to know when your child has PE and lunch.  It can sometimes take 15 minutes to get your child from PE or find them at lunch.

  • May 18-22, ELA classes for 6th, 7th, 8th grades, block schedule below
  • May 26-29 , 8 Science classes for 8th grade only, normal bell schedule
  • June 1-5, Math classes for 6th, 7th, 8th grades, normal bell schedule
  • June 16th, BBQ Field Day, All students will have all 3 lunches. 11:20 am to 1:00

5/29 – Snow cones for sale during all lunches

6/01-6/05 – SBA Math testing

6/08 – 8th grade field trip to Lynnwood Skate & Bowl

6/09 & 6/10 – 8th grade laptop collection through ELA classes

6/09 – EOY Choir concert in the commons at 7pm

6/10 – EOY Orchestra concert in the gym at 7pm

6/10 – 6th grade spelling bee during 5th period in the commons

6/11 – Band End of Year Concert in the gym at 7pm

6/11 & 6/12 – 6th/7th grade laptop collection through ELA classes

6/16 – BBQ Field Day during all lunches

6/16 – 8th Grade Ceremony at MA at 6:00pm

6/16 – 8th Grade Celebration at EX gym 7:30-9:00pm

6/17 – Last day of School, early dismissal at 12:00pm
