Explorer's Back to School Night is next Tuesday, August 26th from 4:00pm-6:00pm.

We are very excited to welcome your new student to Explorer Middle School! We understand that transitioning to middle school can be challenging and a little scary for parents and students. To help ease the transition, we will have a 6th grade orientation assembly on the first day of school on Tuesday, September 2nd. Only 6th graders will be attending school on this day. We have some fun activities planned for them, they will also get to meet their counselor, administrator, teachers, classmates and WEB leaders.

New 7th & 8th graders will also have an opportunity to attend a new student orientation on this day. We will be signing up new students in the office.

Schedules will be available on Qmlativ after 4pm on Friday, August 29th. Paper copies will be given to students on their first day of school.

In middle school, students living 1.5 miles will have a bus. If you live less than 1.5 miles, your child will walk to school. Please make sure your child knows their ROUTE # to get home. Transportation 425-356-1306

Returning 7th & 8th grade students who turned in their laptops at the end of the school year can pick up their laptops at our Back to School Night, August 26 or on their first day of school.

6th graders and new students will get their laptops on the first week day of school.

We will have a variety of clubs available after school. An activity bus will be available and leaves school at 4:00 pm Monday - Thursday. More information to come soon. Students will learn about clubs in morning announcements, Schoology and on our Club Board across from the student office.

Is available for students who normally ride a bus home from school. The activity bus leaves Explorer at 4 pm Mondays thru Thursdays. There will not be an activity bus on Fridays. Students will give their address to the bus driver as they get on the bus. Students must have a pass from a staff member to be allowed on the bus.

Season 1 Sports/1ª Temporada Deportiva: All students must fill out a Final Forms online sports eligibility packet online every year. All students must have a doctor’s physical every two years.
